2024 iPad Air and iPad Pro

The new iPad Air and iPad Pros have just been announced. I purchased the iPad Pro 11 OLED. I have owned various iPads, but haven’t found a perfect use for them. They are good for specific situations, but are not a universal replacement for other devices. Using different devices for different needs. iPhone for on-the-go situations, iPads for casual use at home or travel, and MacBooks/PCs for productivity tasks.  I enjoy the latest technology, and have a system for upgrading through Apple’s trade-in program. These devices are tools and experiences rather than long-term investments. I advise others to prioritize affordability and realistic expectations when buying tech. Emphasizing to learn from experiences and not being afraid to upgrade when a device no longer meets your needs.

Free TV With You Being the Product

A company called Telly is going to offer a free tv as long as you are the product. They want your eye balls and you can get a free TV. Please, do not buy this TV. This is not good. There are other ways to get a low cost TV and this is not the way to do it. via AppleInsider May 15, 2023

GM Will Stop Using CarPlay with New Vehicles Starting in 2024

I do not understand why auto makers make decisions like this. GM going just with just Android Auto. Do they know how many people prefer CarPlay over Android Auto? People are literally making car purchase decisions based on are CarPlay availability. Toyota decided to do this when CarPlay came out a few years back and the changed their mind and now all new Toyotas have CarPlay. All car manufacturers should include all mobile phone software to connect to the vehicle. This prevents people from being distracted in using their phone. via The Verge April 3, 2023

The F-150 Lightning

Electric vehicles are the wave of the future. Imagine never have to go put gas again. When you get home plug in your car to charge just like your phone and leave with a full charge. Unfortunately, the car makers want you to pay for the car and the savings for not using gas. The prices for these cars are so high due to the demand that they do not make financial sense.  Ford has increased the F-150 Lightning by $20K from what they announced in 2021. via The Verge March 30, 2023

Apple iPhone Pro 15 With a Multi-Use Action Button

Now we're talking. This is something I would definitely like see. I would use the multi-use action button for the flashlight. I am always fiddling around trying to turn on the flashlight. I have to close my iPhone and click on the bottom left corner. Now, I simply will click on the old mute button and get light. Maybe I'll use it for the camera button or something else. via MacRumors March 29, 2023

Ted Lasso The Journey of a Lifetime

This show is not about comedy show about soccer (football). It's much more about life and struggles that happen along the way. Positive and negative and how to reactive to both. Sometimes positive could not be good thing or a bad thing. Sometimes a negative could be a bad thing or a good thing. You just need to see from the beginning to understand. Football is life. via 9to5Mac March 25, 2023

Apple TV+ Sports

Ok Apple, you have sports on Apple TV+, but you haven't caught the big one. You now have MLS Soccer, Major League Baseball, and you decided not to go all for the NFL. That's ok, it is a brutal sport, and although, it is the most popular sport in the USA. I don't see how this sport can continue with the damage athletes encounter after retirement. There is a chance for you to get the NBA, now that would be a big win. For now Baseball is starting up again on April 7, 2023. via 9to5Mac March 22, 2023
